▶概要：先行研究を検討して「生きがい」を心理学的な現象であると定義した。さらに「生きがい」の構成要素を定義し、概念モデルを示した。続いて実証研究を実施し「生きがい」の関連要因について、農村地域と大都市近郊地域において地域差を示しただけでなく、地域別に性別、世代毎の「生きがい」の特性を示せた。さらには文献研究から考案された「生きがい」モデルについて、その構造を共分散構造分析によって実証的に示した。

▶abstract：This paper reviewed about IKIGAI research and "IKIGAI" is defined as a psychological phenomenon. Furthermore, the components of "IKIGAI" are defined and a conceptual model was presented. Subsequent empirical studies have shown regional differences between rural areas and suburban areas of large cities in terms of factors related to "IKIGAI", as well as regional characteristics of gender and generation-specific. Furthermore, the structure of the "IKIGAI" model devised from the literature study is empirically shown by covariance structure analysis.
